Maternity Clothes? Just wearing 1 size up in dresses/skirts.

Sleep: Sleeping well but I never feel like I've gotten enough.
Best moment this week: I felt her kick out lastnight instead of down! Like a itty bitty foot coming out - so cool!

Miss Anything? Wearing normal clothes

Food Cravings: vanilla cupcakes, sugar cookies & ritas

20 WEEKS - ITS A GIRL

How far along? 20 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 16 lbs - Weight 134 - this is actually 20 1/2 week weight
Maternity Clothes? It's warm enough to wear dresses! WHOOOOO! I officially live in maxi dresses and maxi skirts 1 size up from my normal size (so small skirts & medium dresses for my D chest YOWZERS!) YAY FOR NO MORE PANTS
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Sleeping well but I never feel like I've gotten enough.
Best moment this week: Ok so since I didn't post during week 19 - I need to quickly recap that moment - LT has started giving me DEATH Acid reflux. This baby better come out with like 2 feet of hair for what I've gone through. Now back to Week 20 - FINDING OUT THAT LT IS A BABY GIRL!!!!!!!!! Makes sense since she has been such a treat in there... KARMA!
Have you told family and friends? yes.
Miss Anything? ummmm eating food without it burning from my mouth down into my stomach.
Movement: Apparently LT is kicking my cervix...weirdest feeling EVER!
Food Cravings: Ritas/cookies/candy
Anything making you queasy or sick? These past weeks everything I put in my mouth is making me sick thanks to LT giving me acid reflux.

18 weeks

How far along? 18 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I've gained 14 lbs since pre baby last week!
Maternity Clothes? OMG my pants are sooooooooo tight! Still squeezing in but it's getting a bit sad...like I have a baby belly muffin top hahaha. Tried maternity jeans last week and they're so weird - I had to YANK them up so far and the creepy elastic part goes down so low! I don't know if I can get used to these. I have been wearing dresses this week that I couldn't wear in the first TRI so I'm pretty happy about that but seriously my pants are giving me muffin tops - YIKES!
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Sleeping well but I never feel like I've gotten enough.
Best moment this week: How about a worst moment? The day I spent $13 at Royal Farms buying candy and then ate an entire bag of sour worms and washed it down with a coke slurpee...Yes, that moment was awesome but the aftermath was HORRIBLE!!!!!

Have you started to show yet? Yea I'm fat, atleast according to the buttons and zippers on my pants.
Gender prediction: So last week I started to realize that this whole time I've been so convinced it's a girl but look at these facts: 1. I can't WAIT to decorate a littel girl nursery but I can't nail down an actual design that I LOVE. Meanwhile I've found 2 boy nurseries that I really love. 2. We IMMEDIATELY found a boy name that I'm just obsessed with - like I will be so sad if we don't get to use it, however we basically had to give ourselves a time out to sit down and come up with a girl name. Do I like it? Yes. Do I LOVE IT? Ummmm...So what if I can't come to these decisions or really feel LOVE towards any girly decisions b/c of the little man in my belly??? - get to find out on April 9th! WHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy or Moody most of the time? I wouldn't say moody as much as I would say CRAZY...holy cow. Definitely an emotional rollercoaster within like a 5 minute span. WATCH OUT!

17 Weeks

Meant to post this last Thursday - 3/22/13

How far along? 17 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I've gained 14 lbs since pre baby! That is GREAT since they say 1 lb a week is on target - I guess my pre baby diet of chipotle, chick-fil-a and Chips has really conditioned my body for cravings of JUNK! :)
Maternity Clothes? OMG my pants are sooooooooo tight! Still squeezing in but it's getting a bit sad...like I have a baby belly muffin top hahaha. May have to try maternity clothes wahhhh! I have been wearing dresses this week that I couldn't wear in the first TRI so I'm pretty happy about that but seriously my pants are giving me muffin tops - YIKES!

Best moment this week: 1. Hearing the baby move around at the doctor appointment - (s)he was doing flips or something! So cute! 2. My doctor writing an RX saying, "Melissa is allowed to have a green beer in honor of St. Patty's day. One a day is OK :)" Then proceeding to tell me that everybody is so paranoid about people being on crack and being overly cautious and having a drink everyday even while pregnant is perfectly fine. Hilarious! Ps.com - this is the same doctor that lectured Ron about how bad diet soda is. Soooo diet soda will kill you but drinking during pregnancy is OK in her  book. LOVE IT.

On Wednesday nights when I have to pick out not 1 but 2 outfits that might as well be Thursday morning - talk about a crazy lady moment. I'm shocked I haven't thrown out ALL of my clothes by now. Picking out outfits is THE WORST!

Miss Anything? EVERYTHING! Right now more than food/drinks I'm really missing wearing cute clothing - NONE of my skirts fit me anymore and being preg 5 years ago would've been so much cooler when babydoll stuff was still in. Go take a look at your closet and you will realize that EVERYTHING hits you at your natural waist - SAD TIMES for a pregnant  body. :( Also miss having hair that will do anything but lay limp and dull and having a face that doesn't look like a 13 year old (AKA PIZZA FACE!)

Weekly Wisdom: So on Wednesday I found out that one of my coworker's wives is pregnant. Either 9 or 13 weeks along (she finds out today) and suddenly I felt like I was in a race...even though I'm further along than her, I felt paniced suddenly that we HAD to pick out our girl's name IMMEDIATELY so i could have dibbs. How crazy is that? No matter what we will find out first and we don't even know what the sex is yet - but I just HAD to know what our girl's name was b/c I'm so convinced it's a girl and I needed to have it settled already. So I have spent a decent amount of time searching the web for girls names. Enough of my story - this is my weekly wisdom for name searching: 1. Consider your kid's initials - make sure it won't spell out something like ASS (Ash if you had kept Smith as your middle name do you realize those are your initials?) 2. Consider a monogram too - If we had a son named Adam Liam O'Brien his monogram would be AOL - that's gay - ps that isn't the name don't worry.  Monograms prob matter more to girls but we totally rejected a middle name lastnight b/c of that exact monogram. hahahaha 3. Consider how the nickname sounds as the full name - the example the website gave was Charles Puck sounds nice but Chuck Puck doesn't. 4. Along the name of nick names - consider what mean little kids can do to bully your child - if you name your daughter Nelly she can be Smelly Nelly - I don't care about this one as much...isn't that mean of me? 5. Don't do a stupid spelling of your kids name...oh my name is Adam but it starts with a silent Q. Oh you're cool.... along those same lines don't do a common name and spelling but prounounce it differently. Oh my name is Ava but it's pronounced like Fish. (I couldn't think of a real example - ok?) I guess those are all my tips. Oh one more - think about how popular you want the name to be...personally I don't want a name in the top ten from last year but apparently Ron doesn't care. We shall see....

Oh ps. to all the people who said they thought I would be a fashionable preg lady - I have news for you: you can only take so much of buying clothing that doesn't fit before you break and just want to live in a potato sack! :( Just another reminder that being pregnant in pants weather IS THE WORST! I WANT MAXI DRESSES

13 Weeks

How far along? 13 Weeks, 1 Day
Total weight gain/loss: Weighed in at 127 at my appointment today - that is a 9 lb weight gain with riding boots on! I'll take it baby WHOOO
Maternity Clothes? Still my clothes - loving my $23 gap jeans size 27. Also, Heidi told me that JCP has some colored jeans for like $13 or something? I may need to go buy those in ummm every color so I can feel like a normal human again! Went and bought some size MEDIUM undies from VS this week...haven't had to switch into them yet but YIKES! Atleast the lady told me, "You DEFINITELY don't need a Large!"
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: If I could get rid of this AWFUL sinus infection I would be sleeping very well. Waking up to feeling like you're drowning in post nasal drip is not ideal.
Best moment this week: Cheesecake Factory bread and butter 2 times in one week...that's right, I am a fatty. Also having that Godiva cheesecake...YUMMMM. Oh also Ron getting me a gc to get a facial!! YAYYYY FIX MY FACE
