35 Weeks - SO CLOSE!!!!!!!!!

Big Things Happened this Past Week!!!

First Here is our new nephew, Grayson Paul:

Grayson Paul James - born 07.19.13 @ 9:52am 8lbs 8.5 oz

Then the Royal baby was finally born!! (I'm obsessed with Wills and Kate!)

5 WEEKS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!! 

How far along? 35 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I weighed 147 lbs LAST Tuesday - that's 29 lbs since before I was preg, 25 lbs since my first appointment @ 5 Weeks I would just like to say they weighed me before I peed this week so I am prob a little less since I pounded like 8 bottles of water that am. Oh and last Friday Miss Abby weighed 5 lbs 7 oz - she is in the 78th percentile for her age.
Maternity Clothes? I'm so sick of commenting on clothes...I bought maternity yoga pants and THEY SUCK! I did buy some maternity t-shirts and nursing tanks/shirts for the hospital but I'm trying some ON lounge pants instead of those AWFUL yoga pants.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: I can't sleep at all anymore! I wake up every hour to go pee and apparently somebody snuck into our house and replaced our once comfy mattress with marshmellows b/c IT IS HORRIBLE!!!!!! :(
Best moment this week: OMG! Nursery makeover progress - Trim painted, chandelier hung, closet organizer in, dresser put together! OH AND I FINISHED THE MOBILE!!!! MAKIN MOVES PEOPLE!
Have you told family and friends? Is this question still necessary? EVERYBODY KNOWS EVERYTHING MMMK
Miss Anything? Being comfortable and wearing my clothes, whatever clothes I want! OMG I miss being comfortable! And not crying every time I try to get dressed! I miss sleeping through the night. I miss not having to pee every 5 seconds - even with the softest plushest toilet paper in the world eventually you get a little raw, you know? I miss being able to eat without getting indigestion...I can't even drink without having it. I miss being able to get out of bed without shooting pain in my lower back. I miss being able to bend over. I miss being able to see my whole body.
Movement: YES! Abby is going to be a soccer player, I'm convinced! Now I can SEE it...how creepy! hahaha again - is this question still necessary?
Food Cravings: snowballs, rice krispy treats, twizzlers, sour dough pretzels, acai blueberry popsicles
Anything making you queasy or sick? I've pretty much stopped eating dinner all together. It is TOO HOT to eat anything but italian ice or snowballs for dinner!
Have you started to show yet? UH YEA! These questions are starting to annoy me.......
Gender prediction: We KNOW that Miss Abigail is a girl, hopefully a GIRLY GIRL. At least her room will be girly hahahhaa
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? Still hanging IN there hahahaha Looks like I'm going to lose this battle.
Wedding rings on or off? My rings are off now. :( Bought a lovely wedding set at Claires for $11.00
Happy or Moody most of the time? The one symptom that hasn't left through this entire time is me crying every time I try to get dressed. Soooo yea, I can go from 0-60 in like 3 seconds. WATCH OUT! I'm also even more moody now b/c I can't sleep on anything and also my back is KILLLLLING ME! Also very sad my parents left. Oh and had a breakdown because my boob leaked and we have 7 weeks and nothing is done. I mean this is how my mind went...I need to finish the curtains, oh I can't finish the curtains until the curtain rod is up...order the curtain rod...OMG we can't hang the curtain rod b/c the windows aren't painted! Proceed to sit on the ground and ball for 30 min and hyperventilate.
Weekly Wisdom: Ummm start the nursery way earlier and don't move when you're pregnant! Tooo many things to do that you don't even realize need to be done. Also shop on craigslist/thrift stores for as much as you can - babies are expensive and they use things for like 5 minutes!
Looking forward to: Getting this baby out of me. hahahahahahahahaha

33 Weeks - 7 weeks until Miss Abby is HERE!

 Only 1 day late this time...WHOOO!

So the highlight of the 4th of July - Look at all the progress we made in the nursery! Still a lot to do, but flooring is in - WHOA BABY! I also painted a wall of insanity, well a gingham wall with 1" tape. 63 vertical stripes and 48 horizontal - WHOA! THANK GOODNESS for the lazer and Kelly...that's all I'm saying!

Floor going in - It's a miracle! I laid 2 of those boards by the way...go me!! 

FLOOR COMPLETE! You can see the base on the far wall as well...It's all cut but not in yet. 

Ron told me I couldn't use the lazer for my horizontal lines b/c , "it's not made to work like that". Well...if you know your lines are 1" apart all you need is a little creativity and lots of things that are 1", 2", 4", 6", 8" to stack your lazer on and you can do whatever you put your mind to! This is our crazy tower to keep using the lazer for horizontal lines. 

So for the gingham wall - 63 vertical stripes, Paint and let dry, remove tape, 48 horizontal stripes, paint and then rip tape off immediately b/c you just want to see your finished work!!! 

I hope Abby likes gingham and lime green b/c this wall is never getting painted...EVER!

Total weight gain/loss: I weighed 144.6 lbs last week - that's 26.6 lbs since before I was preg, 22.6 lbs since my first appointment @ 5 Weeks
Maternity Clothes? I'm so sick of commenting on clothes...I'm going to have to go and buy some actual maternity yoga pants I think b/c I have been trying to read what to bring to the hospital and it says comfy clothes, ummm everything I own is skin tight b/c I've been stretching out everything I own.
Stretch marks? No

Weekly Wisdom: My wisdom for this week is this: I wanted to badly to have a summer baby b/c I hate it when it's cold outside on my bday. We are having a summer baby but the end of summer was STUPID! Next time, compromise for both baby future happiness and mama sanity would be beginning of summer like ummm labor day or the first week of June not the freaking end of August to suffer through summer heat stroke and soberness....Abby, I hope you realize how much I love you and how selfless I've been this year. I think that you can love your mom and appreciate her and what she does for you but the moment you become pregnant you have a whole new understanding of REALLY how much they have done for you. Sacraficing for your children starts the moment you find out you're going to have one and it never stops.
Looking forward to: Getting this baby out of me. hahahahahahahahaha

Weekly Wisdom: Don't ask a mom of older children what to register for, apparently they don't remember what it was like to know nothing about anything regarding babies. Also, don't ask long winded people because they will make you want to have a panic attack and give the baby back/cry. Ask dads! Dads give you the most valuable advice from what I have found so far...they also don't tell you things that push you to tears.
Looking forward to: DECORATING THE NURSERY SINCE THE BEDDING IS FINALLY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!
